Credit Karma Tax Social Media Ad

The Challenge

Free tax filing was a new Credit Karma product offering that only a small portion of members took advantage of. As we approached the tax filing season, I was tasked with creating a Facebook ad to help promote awareness of the service and to remind users that it will save them money.

My role: design and animation.

The Process

I conceived the idea of using a retro video game visual to emphasize how most tax filing services offer a free product but then add hidden fees that chip away at your final refund. To contrast the Credit Karma product, which is completely free.
